ABOUT ME
From a young age I became engrossed by cameras & the visual arts. I was lucky to figure out what I'm good at early on. I'm passionate about my work because it evolved from childhood. I am extremely interested in growing my skill set as a digital storyteller.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I have been an avid skateboarder since 9 years old and my passion lead me to experimenting with filming at an early age. I started as a videographer for a local skatepark/skate-shop in 2011.
After high school I continued at Madison Media Institute in the Video & Motion Graphics course. With help from my instructors [Nella Citino, Ray Ibsen, Josh Oas, Dave Ruthe, Steven Dean, & Nancy Stillwell] I've learned vital information about both video and DSLR cameras, along with Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Lightroom. It's also been a driving force in my thirst for knowledge.
After college I got involved with the local comedy club, Comedy on State. As well as, a music festival, Summer Camp. They’ve given me great opportunities to do photography & videography for bigger named acts.
Currently, I’m working as a Quality Assurance agent for a software company, Fetch. That’s a mobile application, with over 12 million monthly active users. I’ve been able to forge my own path in video there, testing an in-app video player for CPG partners (Including PepsiCo, General Mills, and Molson Coors) to sponsor short form video content.
